FCC, winner of the ECOFIN Image of Spain Award

ECOFIN Forum, the think tank for innovation in economics and finance that has been bringing companies together for more than 15 years to revolutionise the financial and banking sector, has officially announced the three winners of the ECOFIN Image of Spain Award. They are the FCC brands, the 100% Spanish family-owned beverage company Mahou San Miguel and the cultural event Starlite Occident. The awards are presented at the La Noche de las Finanzas, which this year will take place on 17 October at the Cristalera de la Hípica at the Club de Campo de Villa de Madrid.

The awards were decided by an independent jury made up of some thirty executives from associations, universities and companies under the chairmanship of María Luisa Martínez Gistau, director of Communication and Institutional Relations at CaixaBank, who highlighted the international presence of these three brands and the dissemination of the positive values associated with their country brand.

In the case of FCC, the Jury valued "a brand with more than 120 years of experience that certifies the value of Spanish talent in major international projects on five continents". The company has been signing some of the most important international projects in the countries in which it operates since the late 1970s, to the point that more than 44% of its revenues come from its international operations.Projects in which it improves the quality of life of the local communities in which it operates.
 
More than 10 years working for the Spain BrandThe ECOFIN Image of Spain Awards have been presented for more than 10 years to companies, institutions and initiatives that contribute to spreading the Spain Brand around the world.During this time, companies such as Santander, BBVA, Mapfre, Calidad Pascual, Iberia and El Corte Inglés have already received this award. Institutions such as the Cervantes Institute, the Military Emergency Unit (UME), the National Transplant Organisation and Mensajeros de la Paz have also received the award, among other projects that "highlight the value of the Spain Brand and bring together the country's values, share them with the world and contribute to positioning our companies and institutions at the forefront around the world", as Salvador Molina, Chairman of the ECOFIN Forum, points out.
